As I have known quite a few months have been quite busy working. In February I only had time to read me a book: The Lost Symbol of the infamous Dan Brown.
Well, I have to say it is the second worst piece of crap I've read, just behind the spooky The Dead Hand, which I think I've spoken on occasion. Not that I expect much (Dan Brown is not Umberto Eco precisely) (1) but his other books I had read (2) had something, anyway. It is trueDeus ex machina XC from the third chapter that does not leave him until the last page. Needless to say that Dan Brown knows the background theme of the book (the Masons) maso least as much as, say, the Catholic Church (ie, nothing) (3) because it
he usually does, but in this case also makes clear that neither has any idea of science (well, that was clear in
Deception Point, now that I think) and functioning of the institutions of their own country (the involvement of the CIA, for example, no one can believe it) and, for that matter, a concept that has exaggerated his own importance (4) . The final blow, the big plot twist of mortal death, I personally came to me smelling from the fourth chapter. But worst of all is not a book that is objectively bad and boring (the latter, again, something not usually the Dan Brown books). Worst of all, it's a book toxic.
Long digression on what I mean.
Anyway, it said. The book, bad and boring. The underlying idea, worthy of resurrecting
Santo Domingo.
you not to buy it, seriously.
Arthegarn_______________
(1) Well, a bakaluti Umberto Eco, uneducated and farlopa to the ears, maybe.
(2) And, even if it look bad, I just realized that I've read them all (3) Well, maybe he knows a lot but in the book is not noticed. (4) Why do I say this is a bit complicated and require some
spoiler. Say the secret "national security" that the CIA seeks to protect (systematically violate individual rights) is not as secret nor, in all, National Security. Affects tangential and populist public image of certain elected officials in their private face and tell, the idea that it was revealed MIGHT & iacuyou, to have the consequences that implies Sato in the book (which are just under the end of democracy in the U.S.) only can happen to a narcissist who believes that everything revolves around him. But if you what you read, which I do not recommend, let me know your opinion.
(5) Before you had said "in the collective subconscious."
